The 4:1 Studio classes—with individual attention tailored to my needs—made a difference from day one. Within the first year the pain was gone, and I was back on the soccer field for the first time in 15 years, playing several more seasons injury-free. I’ve kept coming because the sessions keep my body moving well and my joints pain-free—priceless when you’re chasing after three young kids.

    I have been doing Pilates at Naturally Norris Pilates for 6 years now.

    I came to Kara hoping to get some relief from the various injuries I had. I was very nervous and didn’t trust my body, as I didn’t want to make things worse.

    Since starting Pilates my body has gotten stronger, more flexible and more resilient, I rarely have  pain and am able to do things that I couldn’t do before. I still have flare ups occasionally, which are now less acute, and I recover quickly from them. On the days when I don’t believe in my body, Kara is there to encourage and believe in me.

    Kara has created a community with Naturally Norris Pilates, which has grown over time. The studio is bright and welcoming, Kara and all the instructors are amazing, I feel safe, valued, cared for, and challenged here.

    I would highly recommend Kara and Naturally Norris Pilates to anyone wanting to do Pilates.

    I’ve been seeing Kara at Naturally Norris for around 4 years now, and I can honestly say it changed my life. I had never been to a group exercise/ gym/ Pilates session before, and it was not really something I would have ever considered doing. After developing ongoing (and very painful) lower back issues, a friend convinced me to give it a go, and I’ve never looked back. Kara is honestly amazing! She works with each person individually to get the best out of your body, and my back (and the rest of me) has never been stronger or more pain free.     Walking was becoming more and more difficult and painful, expensive shoe orthotics weren’t helping. Having surgery for cancer and treatment afterwards, I felt weak, so I limped into Naturally Norris not really knowing what to expect but looking for help. Upon meeting Kara, I knew I was in the right place, her knowledge and experience with pilates and how it helps the body to regain strength put any concerns I had away. Before starting pilates at Naturally Norris Studio, I hadn’t thought I would be able to travel much, let alone fly to Bali!!! I put in extra sessions to get airport ready and it was worth it.     I highly recommend Naturally Norris Pilates, I do the 4:1 personalised program and absolutely love it! Kara creates an environment that feels just like home the moment you walk through the door!! I am currently a university student but prioritise the cost of going to Naturally Norris Pilates because I am achieving results and improving my strength, flexibility and body alignment; this is because Kara pays attention to detail as I’m performing the movements and provides exercises that are specific to my body’s areas of concern. It is worth checking Naturally Norris Pilates out!

    I was pregnant with my first when my osteopath from MUNA recommended I go to NNP to help with my hip and back pain. In the first few weeks Kara noted that I was hypermobile (first time I had even considered that), and tailored my workouts to that as well as being pregnant. That was in late 2020 and I have been going to classes ever since. Kara has seen me through my first hectic post-partum recovery and having to learn to trust my body again, to training my upper body to help with aerials, only to then guide me through another pregnancy and post-partum. She and the team are great at accommodating to you and your body week by week but also through those big life/body changes as well. I have been able to bring both my girls into mums and bubs class in those first 6 months, and have the flexibility to breastfeed during class without question. When bubs get grizzly, Trish happily picks up bubba for some cuddles and traffic watching so I  could finish off a set. I could not recommend NNP more, the space is so welcoming, but it’s the people, that’s where  the magic is. Thank you NNP for not only being supportive during those hard times but for dealing with (and serving back) the sassy comments. Jessica

    My daughter recommended I go to Pilates at NNP after I had been struggling with my knee and shoulders. Both Kara and the team have made sure that I felt comfortable in the studio and tailor exercises to me. Over the last few years my shoulder mobility has improved and I have regained flexibility. Classes have also helped me keep up with my two granddaughters! The NNP studio is a special space as it allows fellow clients to have friendly banter during sessions, which is such a great part of the NNP community.

    I have been attending reformer Pilates classes with Kara for around 6 years. Kara has supported me through post-partum recovery twice as well as one pregnancy. Her knowledge and attention to detail is second to none. My programs have always been individualised and focussed on my personal goals. There is always something new in my programs which I find impressive after attending for so long. I have recently added a group reformer class to my week and have noticed a huge improvement in my strength due to increasing to two classes weekly.

    Thank you to Kara and the wonderful team. I was the worlds biggest sceptic, thinking Pilates wouldn’t help — how wrong I was. I spent 18 months ignoring a worsening lower back injury. After my initial assessment, Kara explained very clearly and in easy to understand terms what should help. It wasn’t going to be a 5 minute fix but she was confident that she could help. I went from having moments of struggling to move without intense pain to moving freely with strength and mobility in my lower back and other unused muscles. Now I’m the one telling everyone with an ache or injury: “Go do Pilates!” No matter your age or ability or appearance you’re cared for and supported at NNP.
